Alcohol use
Heavy use of alcohol has been linked to colorectal cancer. Men should limit their use to no more than 2 drinks a day and women no more than one.

these are some questions that i ask the jehovah witnesses.
i hope you find them useful .
disclaimer: these are questions i found on the iternet and from other sources of research.
Newly Englightened. That is an excellent point. I would love to see Leolala weigh in on it.
so my wife is aware that i am totally disillusioned and i am having problems with lots of things.
one day she can see the crap(such as this past watchtower question from readers about ivf... what a pile of insanity.
if someone carries me and my wifes baby i have committed porneia rofl!!!
I would like to go on record as agreeing with the poster above. All JW's will be able to partake sooner or later. I will add the proviso that they will reserve the nibble and sip for only ACTIVE JW's that meet certain hour requirements or perhaps (and I am not predicting this part) those who tithe. They are able to change anything and the average R&F JW will never kick against them. They will know in their heart it is wrong but the fear of armageddon and losing their family will keep them in line.
i am technically inactive.
i was just curious if there are many people on the inside.
are there any within bethel itself?
I was a MS giving public talks. When I found out about he UN/NGO stuff I stepped down. Then became irregular, then had a whole issue with the BOE (long story). Short version is they are basically afraid of me now. They were wrong about something and I called them on it. They know it. So basically they leave me alone and I don't get too vocal in my opionions. My family is all still "in" but some have changed halls. I go to MAYBE 4 meetings a year just keep everybody talking to me.
as a special "thank you" gift to the watch tower society's team of lawyers for getting jwsurvey shut down yesterday, i have written a new article focussing on the experience of the nigeria plane crash from pages 29 and 30 of the 2013 yearbook.
the experience purports to be about the relief committee set up to assist a witness family whose home was destroyed by a deadly plane crash that claimed over 150 lives rather than the freak survival of the family because they obediently attended their meeting.. still, the reaction of witnesses on facebook unmistakably demonstrates that the real aim of the watchtower propaganda machine was mostly achieved in this article.
despite the fact that two witnesses were recently killed in a bus crash on their way to an assembly, apparently those who obey the bible's command to not forsake gathering together will experience "jehovah's hand" of protection.. here is the link.... http://jwsurvey.org/cedars-blog/we-have-truly-seen-jehovahs-hand-the-shocking-side-of-watchtower-propaganda.
One of the commenters on that page was Keisha Dj-Bubblelic Ious-Stith. She wrote on facebook about the plane wreck: " This is truly a lesson in obedience. This family clearly understood Jehovah’s instructions about not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together. This clearly served as a protection in more ways than just one!"
Interesting thing is she is a dee jay and here is one of her profile pix along with an ad for one of her events:
The first pic below looks like she is getting ready to give someone a lesson in obedience
Don't forget F'Him Girl Friday. It is right between ministry school Thursday and service Saturday.
according to the "new light" is there still a fds "class" or is it now just the faithful and discrete slave as the group of 8 men but no longer a class?.

how would you summarise each of these books?.
which would you recommend to a jw to read first?.
Both of these books are very powerful. I was raised a JW and when I read COC it totally rocked my world. I had associated the org so closely with God that when this book exposed the org for what it is I lost faith in God as well. It was only after listening to some Christian apologists like Ravi Zaccaharius, William Lane Craig and others that I even had the energy to care enough to read ISOF.
To me ISOF is the primary book to read. Rays writing style if excellent. He does not really run others down so much as just show what the bible says. Of course that does not matter if you don't believe in God, but I have regained that belief and that book helped.
That is not to say that I don't struggle at times with belief, especially after things like the school shootings and that poor indian girl that was gang raped and killed. However, I just can't find it in myself to believe that we evolved from nothing. It just doesnt feel right.
Anyway, I am getting off the subject. Read ISOF it is a life changing book.
i just thought i'd amuse myself by seeing what madness awaits in the new 2013 yearbook.. you might like to read some of the gems i've uncovered.... .
"true christians are soon to cross into the promised new world, so they need to be courageous and strong.
how soon are we talking about?
Breakfast of Champions - True dat, dey learnt all dat good thinkin and fine english from the teokratic ministry skool. Dats why i expire i'll neva stp attendin meetins
some people leave because they are fed up with the elders.
others have personality issues.
some have doctrinal and prophecy reasons.
Jesus said that there would be those that say he is in the inner chamber etc. and not to follow them.
In other words Jesus warned us about people that would say he is here invisibly and directly told us not to follow them. That is exactly what the WTBTS does.
In 1919 they were saying he invisibly arrived in 1874. That goes agains the scripture in Matthew re inner chamber etc. There is no possible way he could have "chosen" them in 1919.
The FDS are SELF APPOINTED and it is that simple. Period. No need to get into 607, 1914 and all that crap. In 1919 when they claim Christ chose them they were doing exaclty what he warned against. They are liars and false prophets. Steer clear. That's pretty simple to me.
